This is the way I see the world.
I have asked the Lord to help me run my life. I believe we are here for a purpose. I think God is watching us. The most important thing we can do, in our whole life here on Earth, is to realize how un-worthy we are of all that He has given us, and realize how selfish and self-centered we really are, and realize that we really don't deserve to go to Heaven, and we really should be cast into the "Lake of Fire." Then you can just barely get a glimpse of how awesome Jesus is. Then you can just barely start to get a feeling of how grateful you are to Him. He went through HELL, for us! He is our greatest HERO! He saved us from the.... "burning building". Because of Jesus saving our lives, we will keep on living forever! The only thing that can stop that, is YOUR PRIDE. The pride, you have, that tells you you are a "good person" (for there is not one good among them). That selfish pride that says, I don't need Jesus. That, my friends, will get you a ticket straight to Hell.
After you see that, you see life as a gift from God, and what you do with it is your gift back to Him. I know, for positive, that each and every one of us has gifts or "talents." I believe that we are supposed to use those gifts to help others, and to make the world a better place. I believe that we all have the POWER to change the world. I believe that with great power, comes great responsibility. I take that responsibility very seriously, and I will work my whole life at changing this world for the better. I want to recruit others in my fight. Will you join me?
There are several Biblical verses that guide my path.
This Biblical verse applies to our life RIGHT NOW!!! REVELATIONS 18:23 KJV, and it reads,
"And the Light of a candle shall shine no more at all in thee;(hint, LIGHT is referring to God and/or Jesus) and the voice of the bridegroom and of the bride shall be heard no more at all in thee: (hint, bridegroom is Jesus, and bride is the church)
for thy merchants were the great men of the earth; (hint, do I need to tell you who the "great men of the earth are?) for by thy sorceries were all nations deceived." (hint, the word translated "sorceries" is the word pharmakeia. It's uses are summerized in this entry from the online Lexicon and as you can see, the first meaning is about DRUGS.)
